Investigating Rusting

We set up five different science investigations to find out about rusting. We recorded our observations after 1 hour, 2 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours. Ask us what we found out!

Gardening

Today we went out in the lovely weather to work in our school garden to get ready for Spring! We spent time getting our beds ready and doing lots of other jobs.  Now the garden is ready for us to use.

These are some of the jobs we did:
  • pruning the trees
  • raking leaves
  • removing fennel from our bed
  • transplanting raspberry bushes
  • re-gravelling
  • drying out the willow
  • weeding

Circus Skills!

Thank you Mrs Harris, Mrs Spice and Mrs Griggs for our Circus Skills treat! We had such a fun time and learnt so much! Tom taught us how to juggle using 1 bean bag, then 2 and then 3. We now know how, we just need to practise.

Tom then showed us how to spin plates. It was really tricky because you had to move your wrists so fast!

Throwing hats in the air to land on our heads and keeping the hula hoops circling our bodies was really good fun, especially when Tom was riding his unicycle around us.

Have a lovely half term!
